Dear MBA Members,
Throughout 2007 and 2008, our lending community has experienced great change. These unprecedented times have been challenging for our customers, firms, employees and partners. Although it has not been easy, our members have continued to serve the St. Louis community and its surrounding areas and have remained a pillar of stability in making sustainable homeownership a reality.
In these difficult economic times, it is more important than ever to show our communities that our Association’s members truly care. We have a great opportunity in front of us NOW! We can give back to the neediest of the communities that have been so good to us for over 80 years.
Each year, we ask you to make a donation to our Association’s charity - Homers for the Homeless. Homelessness has increased significantly as more American families are faced with the loss of their home. While the causes may vary, the result does not - many children and families are faced with no place to call home.
